I believe that the men arrested in the Ahmaud Arbery case should not have taken the action they took. Their aggressive confrontation was not at all necessary and led to his death even if he did rob an unoccupied home. They could’ve followed at a safe distance & waited for police.
Everyone knows I’m very pro 2A. I would never brandish a gun in a situation like the Ahmaud Arbery case. You use your gun if a life is in danger. You don’t create the situation that makes you fear for your life. The confrontation wouldn’t have occurred if they stayed in the car.
Long story short: It was possible to do the right thing and have police come to investigate what happened at the house Ahmaud entered without getting out of the car and definitely without creating the dangerous situation we saw play out.
