Currently, Corey Steinmetz, the incumbent, is leading Sam Galeotos for national committeeman. Harriet Hageman leading Barbara Cubin for committeewoman.

The ones down were endorsed by McGinley, as well as mainstream Republicans like Mike Enzi, Foster Friess, and Cynthia Lummis.
McGinley hopped on arguing that some people may not have received ballots -- we had 400+ people on the call and fewer than 300 votes cast. Waiting to hear more.
268 people filled out a ballot and submitted out of 463 eligible total delegates. Huh.
Sounds like we could be going to a recount. Lots of drama about the lack of votes.
A revote was just ruled out of order. Now arguing the merits of that.

There have been numerous voting difficulties today. Couples sharing one computer who each had individual votes, for example, and difficulties using the software. Some may have logged off early.
It takes a majority to overrule the chairman's ruling -- not two-thirds.
Now the state people are saying it is on county officials to track their people. Now we're talking about whether people even received ballots, or if people logging out early could have led to an undervote.
One person on the call just growled out of frustration.

I have been on this call 11 hours and 17 minutes.
Annnd... Someone just made a motion to adjourn. That was denied (we're still on a motion challenging the election), but there's an argument now that today's elections were done in good faith under extraordinary circumstances.
One man asked if there are some simply seeking to overturn the results, rather than ensure the integrity of the vote that just occurred.

The word "ridiculous" has been used several times.
We now have 340 delegates on the line. Motion to adjourn now on the table, as it supercedes the challenge to the chairman.

"What a mess," someone said.

They're tallying votes now, but no motion to vote was ever called.
In the midst of the vote, someone now asking to reconvene at a later date to do the vote should we not complete business tonight.
Lots of folks calling in to vote now. Some just asking if their votes were counted. One woman said she was voting "yes" on a motion to adjourn, but nobody could hear her.

Several still contesting their votes after polls closed.
228 votes to adjourn. 137 to keep going. The convention appears to be over with several items on the agenda, but we're still debating if we're actually adjourned.
That's 365 votes, still well short of the total delegates -- and far more than those who voted for national committeeman and woman.
Someone just suggested to do this election by mail to ensure an accurate count.

Man...
It's not clear if we adjourned, but we're now voting a motion to continue the meeting at the call of the chair. I have no idea what is happening.
Okay, the motion is to reconvene to, as one man said, "to fix this."
As in: the chairman will decide when to continue this vote. Eathorne said this delay could potentially risk our delegation: we have to vote tonight, though Eathorne will reach out to RNC's legal team to learn more.
194 yes, 162 no votes. We will reconvene at the call of the chairman. Meeting adjourned.

"This is illegitimate," one caller says.

Till next time. #WYPol
