This means 3C could be hit by the 2040s, and 4C by the 2060s.

I think it would help if climate scientist-journalists of a ecomodernist/green capitalist persuasion spent time discussing the increasingly likely projection of ~2C by 2035 (and the implications) instead of framing discussion with the idea that we can stay below 1.5C (or 2C)!

Here I am explaining to everyone that 'runaway' is not popular with some scientists. Not sure if @wang_seaver saw that.



How many scientists reject the idea that 2C leads inevitably to 3C sooner or later? I genuinely wouldn't know.
