BREAKING: Coronavirus Outbreak

US hotspots in NY, NJ, MI continue to improve. NY is 1/4 of peak, NJ 1/3-1/2, MI 1/4-1/3.

US total yesterday 25,524, today now 20,329. Significant improvement mainly due to NY, NJ, MI.
Italy continues to improve, daily cases and deaths lowest in two months!

UK recently lower than peak, 3,923 today

France yesterday 579, today 312, Germany 736 and 555 Less than 1,000 for two days

Ukraine plateau at 500

Russia at 11,000 recently

India jumps 40% to 4,353
Middle east: Turkey 1,542, Iran 1,383.

Recently countries in region are accelerating, unclear why.

Saudi Arabia 1,912, Qatar 1,189, Kuwait doubled to 1,065 today.

Why is the Batshit Crazy idea of Herd Immunity still with us?

There may not be immunity (coronavirus infects inside of the lung where immune system doesn't go). So far there is no empirical evidence that supports immunity after recovery, on the other hand, there're reports of reinfection after recovery in several countries.

Even if immunity works: Herd immunity might be done in two ways:

1)Everyone agrees to get sick now (they won’t) 15% die because hospitals are overwhelmed

2)We do three years of lockdown to gradually get everyone sick 20% of people go through hell, 5% of the population die

I have lost my mother to COVID.

May her light shine bright forever in the places that truly matter.
Western society is uncaring. The society is self-destructing.
I watched the loss of compassion build over decades, recognized its danger, was appalled, as well as afraid of its consequences for my family. I built around us the best protection I could. People who care. A black market in compassion.

Some US states showing significant increase in cases, including: TX, IL, MD, MN, VA, IA
MN, VA, IA attached
NY, NJ doing better. MA the third state, not yet. Recent mask rule may help if people social distance seriously.

NY should limit travel soon from other states to continue to reduce cases.
