The lockdown strategy:

Phase one (from Weds)

* People should 'aim to wear face-coverings' on public transport & in shops

* Workers should continue to work from home wherever possible

* Workers who cannot work from home should travel to work - but avoid public transport

Phase one of lockdown easing continued:

* Over-75s should STILL 'minimise' contact with other households

* Vulnerable children should go to school

* Unlimited exercise, people can now drive to outdoor open spaces

* MPs should start coming back to Parliament

Phase two of lockdown easing (from June 1)

* Sage will only *examine* whether one household can mix with another an 'exclusive' basis

* It says 'bubble' approach could reduce current social restrictions while continuing to 'limit chain of transmission'

Also in phase two (from June 1)

* Phased return for primary schools (year 1, year 6).

* Aim to have all primary school children back for a month before Summer

* Non-essential retail begins to open

* Sporting and cultural events can take place behind closed doors

Phase three (from July 4)

* Hairdressers and beauty salons could begin to reopen

* Restaurants, pubs and hotels could reopen

* Churches and cinemas could reopen
