All right, big SCOTUS day tomorrow.
Official pre-arg predictions: Roberts twists himself to find Trump v. Mazars non-justiciable. BUT, rules against Trump in Trump v. Vance. Both cases 5-4. Roberts gets ritualistically crapped on by both sides, legacy media praises him as "fair."

Since Mazars involves a Congressional subpoena, Roberts will try to appease Trump by giving him a victory over Congress, or at least let him continue to unapologetically stonewall Congress and threaten the rule of law without giving him an official "good job, Brownie" stamp.
But since Vance involves a prosecutor's subpoena, and there's really no way to be *republican* without treating prosecutors like they're the damn justice league, an Vance's subpoena is to a third party and not POTUS himself... I just don't see how Roberts bails Trump out of that.
I'd like to be wrong, because in a rational world Trump would lose both cases, 9-0 and be admonished for wasting everyone's time with this NONSENSE TRIPE.
But we live in a Republican world. And the Republican justices are craven and unwilling to stand up to Trump.

Also, Roberts knows that if he splits the baby, the fawning mainstream media, DESPERATE to find some Republican who isn't totally full of crap, will fete him. And, much as people say Roberts cares about "the court" he cares about *his personal legacy* more.
