Donald Trump is president to disable government as an obstacle to unimpeded corruption and profit.

He isn't a traditional president. He's an anti-president engaged in post-political managed democracy. He isn't there to help you.

The only thing Trump will do in response to the pandemic is pretend like he's doing anything at all.

Post-political authoritarians will never use government to help people besides themselves. The only thing they will do is provide a flimsy illusion of helping.

Over time, the post-political authoritarian's flimsy illusion of helping will just wear down the citizen's expectation that the government can be used in a productive manner.

None of this is hidden. This is what Trump is doing and you have to understand it.

Just continually saying "why isn't Trump doing anything?" or "it's almost like Trump doesn't get it!" doesn't help.

This is intentional. Trump isn't going to help. He's not interested in helping. He's only interested in destroying governance as we know it.

That's it.

You have to change the way you view politics and the presidency.

Trump isn't a president. He's a corporate raider with authoritarian aspirations. He's there to break this country down.

Just because he flies on the plane and works in the office doesn't make him a president.
