Chief Minister Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray interacted with Divisional Commissioners and District Collectors today via video conferencing to review the situation in the State. 
The monsoons may lead to a rise in cases of contagious and other diseases. These ailments will have to be treated along with Corona and hence, it must be ensured that doctors in all districts, especially private medical practitioners, resume their practice.
The CM reiterated that while the migrant workers are travelling to and fro, the State machinery must be alert and take necessary precautions to prevent transmission of the virus.
Every District Collector must ensure that restrictions in containment zones are followed strictly. The Corona virus must not be allowed to spread outside these zones in any circumstances.
Handling medical and economic emergencies is a tightrope walk. Hence, permissions are being given for restarting commercial and industrial activities. But, extra precautions need to be ensured in these areas.
Intradistrict transport has been started in the districts that are in the green zones, but due care must be taken.

The State Govt has asked the Railways to share in advance, a list of passengers traveling on the Express to ensure that due precautions are taken.
The Industries Dept must review the number of migrant workers who were engaged in every industry and the number of labourers who have returned to their States.
While industries have been allowed to restart, the Chief Minister gave instructions to verify if these units are facing shortage of workers. If they are, then local manpower should be made available for them.
