1. Airlines need to fly crews & planes or FAA rules may make them have to go through re-certification. What we need is to nationalize domestic airline routes and allow cross subsidization of the international routes to accommodate our trading partners. Keep the crews functional
2. Once we all recover, the airline stock can be sold via govt backed utility-like securities. More leg room. Better use of routes to maximize efficiency and service for undeserved markets. Better crew working conditions. Stability.
