/ Here are some of the questions I have for all involved in reopening the Tesla Fremont car plant:
/ The county health officers said they see "progress" on certain Covid-19 indicators Tesla can go beyond min. basic operations this week, prepare to reopen next week. So - where have they see progress, on which indicators and from what starting date?
/ The county said Tesla submitted a revised, better plan to protect workers. Well - what new measures do they expect to be implemented at Tesla Fremont, now? More PPE, more PCR testing, other?
/ When will Fremont Police Dept. begin to inspect the factory to ensure the health orders are being followed? Will they conduct more than one inspection? Why Fremont PD not OSHA or Alameda County Public Health?
/ Tesla employees told CNBC that everybody was back already, minus temps. But county says only some operations are allowed this week, if Tesla meets conditions. What operations are & are not allowed at the Tesla Fremont plant this week?
/ How many workers are allowed on site at a time? How does this compare to normal capacity at Tesla Fremont?
/ Does Tesla, Fremont or the county know how many employees at Tesla were previously infected with Covid19? How many, if yes?
/ Will the health orders apply to transit that is arranged by Tesla for employees via a fleet management app? Is Fremont PD inspecting those shuttles as well?
/ Tesla resumed production, fully, this weekend - and CEO Elon Musk said they were fully resuming production on Monday in a public tweet. Could the company face any consequences as a result? What?
/ Are Tesla employees who decline to go back from furlough to the factory out of concern over Covid-19 exposure eligible to get unemployment at this juncture? Until what point?
/ Thanks for your work, and consideration of these many questions: @tesla @ACSOSheriffs @AlamedaSuperior @Dare2BWell @AGBecerra @CA_DIR @FremontPD
*forgive typos please. ^if they see... have they ^seen?
/ Read the @CNBCtech story from Tue. with details about how what it was like for Tesla employees returning to work in Fremont...they said it was impossible to maintain social distance during vehicle production. cnbc.com/2020/05/12/tes…
