It just so happens there was an out of the blue WaPo hit piece on Flynn regarding Afghanistan written on 12/13, published 12/14.
That article sent everyone and their mother to the unmasking chamber.

So someone leaked to the WaPo and that someone wanted to create a buzz around Flynn. And that buzz created mass unmasking.
And that someone must have wanted everyone to see something. But it wasn't about Russia. Kislyak hadn't happened yet.

But there were rumors of Flynn and a Turkish cleric and a meeting at the 21 club around that time.
Therefore its not hard to conclude that the leaker was setting Flynn up as some sort of unregistered foreign agent for Turkey.

This just shows a coordinated and intentional effort by someone to get Flynn for anything. He was offered the roll as Trump's NSA in November 2016. Whoever set this up really didn't want Flynn to have that job.
