It’s not routine for political figures such as Joe Biden to unmask names of an incoming NSA Advisor who was just being surveilled due to false allegations from an FBI Informant. I highly doubt that’s acceptable. I also highly doubt the DOJ or the FBI thinks it’s acceptable either
No one’s asking why was Flynn being surveilled in the first place in the summer of 2016? Why didn’t the FBI give a 33 year General and head of the DIA who fought against Russia his entire life a defensive briefing during the campaign?
The only information the FBI had that suggested Flynn had done anything nefarious with Russia came from false allegations from an FBI Informant, that accused Flynn of having an affair with a British Citizen that had no connection to the Russian government.
If this was routine the FBI would have at least try to verify the allegations and ask Gen Flynn about them in the defensive briefing. The FBI did not. Instead an FBI Agent on McCabe’s team, wore a wire to the campaign defensive briefing to surveil Flynn.
Of course the interview of Flynn by the FBI Agent during the campaign defensive briefing came back exculpatory. However the FBI pressed on and concluded in Dec 2016 that Flynn was innocent.

Comey, McCabe and a team of agents pressed onwards. Comey and McCabe made the decision to keep Gen Flynn’s case open because of another exculpatory call Flynn had with the Russian Ambassador. Then this call was shared throughout the Obama Admin at the highest levels and leaked.
So if the Obama Admin, the a Democratic Party and the mainstream media want to call this routine, please be my guest. Please sit before a grand jury and explain how routine this was being interviewed by federal prosecutors. We all know the answers are much different under oath.
