3. 7200 new self help groups have been formed for the urban poor from the March. These get assistance from revolving funds.
4. 2.33 crore wage seekers in 1.87 lakh gram panchayats ... are being enrolled .. once they return home. i.e Migrants will be employed once they return home or if they have already done so.
5. We are committed to making Labour welfare a top priority. Minimum wages should be made universal to all workers. This is in the works.
6. Regional disparity in minimum wages is something being addressed. Compulsory annual health check ups, a letter stating they are being employed will be looked at.
7. Definition of inter-state migrant workers is being looked at. Portability of welfare benefits is being studied.
8. Make it mandatory to have workers in hazardous jobs covered by (insurance) schemes.
9. Night working rights for women with safeguards - another priority. These are being looked at in revised labour code.
10. 44 laws need to be reduced to 4 codes. The government wants to pass this in parliament.
11. TDS at source announced yesterday will be clarified by the Revenue Secy today - EPF support of playing 24 per cent is borne by the government of India for the past 3 months, being extended by the next 3 months as well. For others, its being reduced from 12 to 10 per cent.
12. Finally todays new measures. Free food grain supply to migrants for the next 2 months announced.
13. For those who are non-card holders - for them, they shall be given 5 kgs of wheat or rice and 1 kg of channa. Engaging with the state govt to approach these migrants.
14. 8 crore migrants for whom benefit will now work - central government will bear the cost - 3500 crores will be spent by the centre. EVEN if they are not under any scheme - they don't need any card.
15. To benefit migrants, portability of ration cards is being allowed. This is very important. One nation, one ration card. Will be implemented. 67 cr beneficiaries in 3 months - 87 per cent of the entire PDS population will be covered.
16. Full coverage - 100 per cent by March 2021 of 1 nation, one ration card. This is being done through technological benefits.

17. Affordable rental accommodation for migrant labour and urban poor - A rental housing scheme - there will be incentives to build affordable housing. Also converting government housing into rental housing.
18. 5000 crores for liquidity for street vendors, for those who work in homes.
19. Housing scheme - credit linked subsidy scheme for lower middle income group - Additional 2.5 lakh individuals will benefit through the extension of these scheme.
20. Will be able to spur jobs creation - This scheme will help the demand side.
21. This is for those earning between 6 to 18 lakhs a year.
22. 6000 crores of funds for people in tribal areas.
23. 30,000 crore additional emergency working capital fund for farmers through NABARD. Re-finance support.
24. This additional 30,000 crore will be immediately released. This is for post harvest Rabi crops for small and marginal farmers. Rural cooperative banks will use this credit.
25. 3 crore farmers to benefit through these additional funds.
26. Kisan credit cards for fishermen as well - Fishermen get access to institutional finance through beneficial rates. Animal husbandry and fishermen will be added.
