Do you really think Modi CARES for poor & destitute ?

Before giving you the details (forget nothig there) - let me tell you that - except for free 5 kg Wheat or rice + 1 kg chana - for next 2 months - w/o any card - there was nothing for either the poor, migrant workers or the farmers.

Modi's idea of a #ReliefPackage is CRUEL.

CRUEL because:

For all the destitution - he has 1 solution - take loans.
Karza lo.

Street vendors have lost their livelihood since 2 months - may continue to remain w/o work for next 2-3 months - Modi's relief - take loans - upto Rs. 10000.

Insensitive.

As and when the lockdown is lifted - the street vendor is expected to approach a abnk & make an application for a loan of Rs.10,000/-.

Now, that's easier said than done.

Try going to the bank for a loan, you will understand.

No direct income support for loss of livelihood.

Migrant workers will be provided employment in their home States through .....Errrrr..... that monumental failure of Dr. MMS Govt .... MGNREGA.

Look Modi ji has Original thinking. So Original that he's eating Crow Biryani even before he has been dethroned.

One of the reasons that forced migrants to leave & head home on foot - inability to pay rents for their temperory accommodations.

Modi has a plan for them too. A 10+ year plan. Build Rental Housing under PM Awas Yojana via PPE route for building rental housing.

CRUEL.

Interest subvention / support of 2% to Shishu Loans = below Rs. 50,000/-) for 3 months.

Such magnamity. It will surely shame the atrocious Mughals.

Rs. 6000 Crores support to States for plantations & forestry related work in tribal areas. A paper tiger.

For farmers -

30000 Crores Additional Emergency Working Capital Fund for farmers. It is the money that will be used by NABARD for refinancing banks who give out these loans.

A chimera.
CRUEL.

Fresh 2.5 Crores Kisan Credit Card for farmers. Again, banks, applications & queues

To sum up:

In 2 days - whatever Modi has declared for creating an #AatmNirbharBharat is - loans for MSMES. Loans for farmers. Loans for street vendors.

So a nation building is being founded on LOANS - by people who have no means of earning. Forget pay interest & installment.

Finally, what the banks will do?

Entertain MSMEs, NBFCs, Builders & Developers who will build low cost rental housing, farmers or street vendors ??

All at once when the lockdown is lifted.

Do the banks have capacity or appetite?

The answer is :NO.
