I'm looking forward to the day where we can all talk about this openly instead of sounding like jerks. I haven't turned my PS4 on since we built a PC under the TV, and I'm playing like, everything, at maximum settings.
I'm buying games on the actual platforms that devs made them for. I'm playing fun little free indie things and not asking them to spend crazy amounts of time and labor to make it work on some arbitrary machine instead. I'm playing Gamecube at 1080p with an Xbox One controller.
The other day I bought a bundle of 50-something Eidos games for $40, and all of the proceeds went to charity.
Last night I tried OMIKRON: THE NOMAD SOUL, which I bought for like, 80 cents. I cranked all the settings using third party tools and ran it at a hilarious resolution where I couldn't even read the text anymore, which was for the best, and noodled for 40 minutes and deleted it.
Ah yes here we are, the exact reason why I never talk about this. Thank you for the pitch-perfect example reply, friend.
It was part of a charity bundle that literally put food on the tables at food banks but go on
Since some people are interested, here's what we do:

- Plain case that blends into our black Ikea shelf
- "Lap desk" under the couch
- Logitech wireless keyboard + touchpad for casual navigation
- Wireless mouse on the lap desk when needed
- Wireless Xbox One controller
Bonus: The wireless keyboard lets you switch between different devices so I have a dongle on my Mister too for doing Amiga games etc.
