@realDonaldTrump @NJTRANSIT I am proud to announce that the federal government will receive $11.5 billion more from the people of NJ than the federal government will give back to them (same as every year). This $$$ will keep people moving in welfare states like Kentucky. Together, we will prevail!
Congress raises funds from the people & distributes to states as it sees fit. This is not President Trump's money, his responsibility, or his place to take credit: especially galling for NY/NJ who together contribute $33.5 billion more to federal government than we get back.
For no other reason than spite & hatred President Trump has squashed the necessary new rail tunnel between NYC & NJ that we need to ensure the viability of the region that literally gives so much to rest of US. We are not getting charity here, we continue to subsidize this Union.

2,000 people died in US yesterday due to willful negligence of Trump Regime, their #70days of inaction, but now President Trump is personally hosting a 2 hour variety show every night with "killer" ratings. So why is everyone so upset?!?
I would prefer our President optimize for lower death toll, rather than higher ratings. But, this is what you get when you hire sociopath game-show host as President and he learns that higher death tolls are good for ratings.

@jmpfaff A core function of the Union is common defense in times of crisis (war, natural disaster, plague) we used shared resources to protect wherever needs it: absurd for each state to stockpile materiel for this type of event when federal government can do so cheaper & more efficiently
NY is under-attack by this outbreak, acute illness is outstripping ICU capacity, NY needs protective gear, tests, ventilators ASAP, but for weeks now federal government has been shorting NY, while sending way more than necessary to Republican states. Breaks core function of Union
President Trump keeps yelling at Democratic states: this is your fault, you should buy more materiel, take care of your citizens. Not only is that the function of the federal government, but states send most of their money to federal government, they don't have the cash ...

@realDonaldTrump This statement perfectly sums up the Trump Regime: bragging about the ratings for the death & suffering caused by his willful incompetence.
A big fuck you to every media operation that carries President Trump's 1-2 hour nightly show. It is not news: It is dangerous disinformation that endangers all of US, for the sake of ratings.
With all of these public statements, including bragging about ratings, President Trump has not once expressed his sympathy (let alone acknowledge his responsibility) for the 2,350+ dead in US, millions more suffering, due to his willful incompetence.
