57 deaths & 993 new COVID cases reported in last 48 hours—as the CDC predicts more than 100k deaths by June 1.
The airports may not be packed yet. But the feeling is the one I felt flying to AZ two months ago (below).
I have talked to a countless # of small biz owners since. The responsibility of public health has been placed on them to balance $$ & health.

Workers at the likes Sunsplash Water Park in AZ are earnest in their efforts to keep the public safe. They had blue tape out. They urged social distancing. They were sanitizing. But it’s frankly difficult to police social distancing at establishments.
Despite workers at the water park wearing masks, hardly a soul among the hundreds visiting this AZ swim park wore a mask today—even finding it worthy of a chuckle:
Folks in Arizona see their governor not wearing a mask on the news — at his briefings or visiting a local restaurant (per his Twitter account ystdy).
Yet folks are urged to do so themselves.

As Arizona let its stay-at-home order expire & expands its business openings, this is what the graph, per the state, looks like of positive COVID-19 cases here. This graph does not include the 498 & 494 new cases reported yesterday & today.
Arizona is justifying its "opening" based on: "The downward trajectory of positive tests as a percent of total tests within a 14-day period."
