I love HOUSE in part because it's a show totally incomprehensible to zoomers, or anyone who grew up in the post-smartphone era for that matter, when people had human relationships and had to solve problems using their own intuition instead of using the handheld twit machine
Jennifer Morrison is so bland-looking, Jesse Spencer probably called off the engagement because she sucked in bed. Lisa Edelstein has that jolie laide quality that energizes both heads to perfection

Notes on lockdown: people where I am are leaving the house at will, despite a 5:30 pm curfew and permits being necessary to leave the house. Police have stopped issuing fines and making arrests. Far fewer people are wearing masks and gloves.

The lockdown is over. Give it up.
Far as I can tell, the only people backing a lockdown at this point are a) partisan Democrats who want to demolish the economy and blame Trump for it and b) mentally ill Extremely Online Right-Wingers who think demolishing the economy will somehow lead to UBI (it won't).
BTW, to everyone who wants a UBI: you need a political base in order to get it.

There is no political base for UBI right now. Republicans and their voters don't support it because they want to get back to work. Democrats don't support it because they're owned by corporations.

one like = one unpopular opinion about travel, expatriation, and foreign countries
learning foreign languages is pointless unless you achieve fluency, most people you'll encounter in cities speak some English, and as soon as they find out you're a foreigner they'll switch to English because a) they want to practice or b) it's easier than watching you stumble
