You wouldn’t think “just caring more” is a sustainable competitive advantage but it will get you a surprising distance in life.
Specific example, on how to interview subjects, paraphrased:

“Patrick has written over 500 essays. I read 200 of them. The worst thing to have in an interview is the questions the interviewee has been asked at every interview they’ve ever done.”
That is a shockingly minority viewpoint among professional interviewers!
