Why does anyone find this confusing?

Trump's efforts to manufacture dirt on his presidential-campaign opponent Joe Biden were bankrolled by Putin agent Dmitry Firtash, who sought Trump's aid in taking over Naftogaz. Trump provided the aid—completing the federal crime of bribery.
PS/ We have all the proof on this. Trump made Parnas his Biden-dirt envoy in Ukraine—by directly tasking him—as Parnas was being paid by Putin agent Firtash. Firtash wanted Trump—in return—to get the CEO of Naftogaz fired to clear Firtash's *massive* debts. Trump worked to do so.
PS2/ Parnas *bought* himself the role as Trump-Firtash middleman by donating *lavishly* to Trump's re-election effort—money that couldn't have come from him (he was bankrupt) and clearly came, instead, from Firtash, who also wanted Trump's DOJ to stop his extradition to the U.S.
PS3/ In fighting his extradition to the U.S., Firtash hired—this will blow your mind—*Trump's own lawyers*, so that *all three* of Parnas, DiGenova and Toensing could claim to be working on the legal teams of *both* Trump and Firtash and therefore couldn't disclose their efforts.
PS4/ Russia was a bribery case. Ukraine was a bribery case. Trump's collusion with Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Israel? Bribery, bribery, bribery. It's *always* been about bribery.

And guess who *publicly says* U.S. businessmen *should be able to bribe* foreign officials?

Trump.
PS5/ None of this is theory. These are bare facts taken from major-media investigative reports. I said on HBO in 2019—with Bill Maher—that *the* struggle in exposing Trump isn't that we don't know the facts...but that the facts are *so public* folks assume they must be innocuous.
PS6/ *The* summary of the Trump era—you're welcome in advance, future historians—is that if you commit the most audacious crimes in American history *in public*, you can (or could, at the beginning of the digital age) convince many Americans that you must have done nothing wrong.
PS7/ Years of TV and movies and silly cable punditry led America to believe criminal investigation isn't a careful marshaling of facts—many obvious, many public—but a *super-secret tape* in which Trump cackles evilly and says "Those stupid Americans—I fooled them!"

Well, he did.
PS8/ I'm going to have much more to say on all this tomorrow.
