Insane.

1) It was the admin that Biden was a part of that sought to normalize Cuba's government.

2) The UNHRC consistently includes some of the worst human rights abusers in the world. It always has. That's a problem with the organization regardless of who is POTUS.
I mean...



Obama gave a whole speech at the time comparing Cuba's human rights abuses to their criticism of the United States, and insisting we still move toward "normalizing" relations.

Still crazy that MI's Whitmer extended the stay at home order for 2 weeks without any real justification. She concedes that we have flattened the curve and claims the extension is to "avoid a second wave," but the original stated goal of the lockdown was to flatten the curve.
Evidence from other states that have re-opened almost a month ago is clear that opening with precautions should not lead to a large second wave so this is just moving the goal-posts without reason. Especially since you can cite same excuse 2 weeks later so no real goal line.
Meanwhile, Whitmer has not received nearly sufficient scrutiny for her policy of forcing COVID-19 patients back into nursing homes (which was slightly adjusted this week w additional requirements).

That policy, like in several other states, has turned out to be a disaster.

Alex's narrative in early May was that DeSantis had a terrible COVID response and that caused for him to be one of the least popular Governors in America. With data showing that assumption as wrong, he chooses to latch onto conspiracies about the data instead of correcting.

Does anyone think it's a coincidence that most of the states with worst death counts had Governors who issued executive orders forcing nursing homes to take positive COVID-19 patients discharged from hospitals?

New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan etc.
Yet none of the Governors who imposed those policies, and are now adjusting them, have faced significant scrutiny for the policies where they put the most at-risk grou[s in further danger.

All of those Governors happen to have a D by their names.
And this shouldn't be a partisan thing, but the press has essentially made it one by refusing to scrutinize these Dem Governors as they made costly errors while focusing all their time and criticism on Republican Governors with significantly less devastating results.
