AG Barr says Apple refused to help them get into a terrorist cell phone eventually the FBI was able to get into it.
Wray says this shows how important our fight against terrorism really is.
Wray says they’re still exploiting the evidence from the terrorist phone and they continue to run the investigation.
They could’ve use the information months ago when they got the search warrant for the phone. Unfortunately @Apple refused to help and they had to spin ridiculous amounts just to get the phone open.
I am one of the biggest Barr’s biggest supporters but there’s no way I can agree with this. Until I see accountability in the FBI there’s no way they can be trusted with this power. They got the power to spy on foreigners and what did they do turn it around on @realDonaldTrump.
If @Apple can help out the Chinese communist party there’s no excuse as to why they can’t help the US.
Barr says the DOJ will not be used as a political weapon to go after opponents while he’s there.
What happened to @realDonaldTrump was real injustice.
Barr says The Durham investigation is trying to get to the bottom of what happened. It Will determine if any federal laws were broken and if there were they will be held accountable. Based on what he knows he doesn’t think they’ll be a criminal investigation into Obama or Biden.
Barr says @realDonaldTrump specifically talk to Tim Cook and it still didn’t move the needle.
