Under President Trump, we've built the strongest Coronavirus testing system in the world.

In addition to performing more tests than any other country on Earth, America has now conducted twice as many tests per capita as South Korea, long considered a gold standard for testing.
On every supply issue, the President has mobilized a massive response across government and the private sector.

As a result, many areas today see their testing capacity exceed demand—exactly what happened with ventilators after President Trump drastically expanded production.
Being overprepared is a good “problem” to have, and it didn’t happen by accident.

Thanks to the hard work of President @realDonaldTrump, our public health experts, and private sector leaders, America is more ready than ever for a safe, phased reopening.

The legislation passed by the Senate this week reserves $30B in loans for small financial institutions that serve minority and distressed communities—building on the Trump Administration’s work to protect minority Americans who have been hit hard by Coronavirus.
Part of that work is ensuring sufficient testing options. In the past month, @HHSGov has awarded over $1.4B to Community Health Centers—funding that is being used to address screening/testing needs, acquire medical supplies, and boost telehealth capacity in underserved areas.
President @realDonaldTrump is also directing the White House Opportunity and Revitalization Council to focus its efforts on supporting distressed communities impacted by the Coronavirus and identifying what additional funding is needed from Congress to best support these areas.
