1/ I'm testing different cameras to use with Zoom

Here is:

1. Built-in Facetime camera on Macbook Pro
2. External webcam Logitech C922x Pro Stream webcam 1080p
3. Panasonic Lumix GH2 DSLR with CamLink
2/ Lumix is clearly better. But we had to do some work in the settings to remove all these overlays
3/ This is the background blurring effect we're after. The lens is good, with a wide aperture f1.7, but I need to add depth and detail to the background in order for it to be visible
4/ Here's different white balances
5/ And this is the best one for now, using auto white balance. Any photographers want to give me any advice on how to improve it?

I've always had a strange form of synesthesia that I wonder if anyone else shares: I perceive words as numbers and vice versa. So my brain automatically divides words or phrases in half, and those with even numbers of letters on each side are more pleasing
This has always made doing math in my head difficult, because I process numbers in word form. So I get bogged down with even simple calculations by the completely irrelevant fact of how long the associated words are
But I think it makes writing and music easier, because the rhythm and cadence that words (or notes) have to fit into feels very intuitive and natural

2/ If you make a course that directly solves just one, utilitarian problem, like “how to make a to do list” or “how to set up a blog” or “how to make cupcakes” them you’re competing with the endless supply of amazing, completely free content on YouTube
3/ Using the example from the post above, you’re like the individual newsletter writers competing head to head with every other writer in their niche on the basis of quality and price. All you can do is be better OR cheaper than everyone else
