Thoughts so far:
- Korthia & Cov strikes seems very run of the mill. Need to see more.
- Intro experience has next to no gameplay. Stuff falls over near instantly. Feels off given the narrative!
- Raid seems vvv exciting based on the dungeon journal
We don't know what'll happen with Torghast, the 'Domination Gear' they teased at Blizzcon, and a bunch more. It's really too early to draw conclusions.
Certainly feels small on the world content front. Smaller than 7.2. But it's hard to tell since we don't know what their intent is. (They didn't do the usual & give us a dev explainer post).
Anyway, to cap off this afternoons lore tweets, we’re seeing an unprecedented level of lore recontextualisation & changes.
Will it be worth it? Can’t answer that yes.
Will we, the messenger, be shot? Almost certainly!
I do wish they could have worked around the old lore...
...as it does feel pretty blunt how willing they are to smash even the likes of Chronicle 3 to pieces.
Eg, it seems that much of the chronicle 3 scourge lore is just incorrect now.
We now know the Jailor was a presence in the helm of domination. Chronicle 3 has no idea about that & much of its Arthas content just doesn’t make that much sense with what happens since Shadowlands
