More numbers theatre today.

67,681 people tested.(2,064,329 total).

2615 +ve (250,908 total). 25.88 tests for every positive.

338 people have died who tested positive at least under Pillar 1-NHS/PH- labs (36,042 total)
14.36% CFR.
There is a 1,026,237 shortfall between the tests claimed (over 3 million) and “people tested”
2,064,329) . This shortfall increases every day.

Yesterday 184k was accounted for by serology antibody testing (no result to patients)
A staggering number accounted for by counting a test kit posted as “a test” : hundreds of thousands posted but not turned into “people tested”.

41,099 of tests claimed today alone were just posted kits

No idea what the actual lab testing and result backlog is. No data

I wonder whether we have done similar research on blood donations here in the UK...analysed by date, Region and postcode

Interesting for a number of reasons.

4.5% was at the start of the study and progressed upwards as it continued.
IgG more prevalent in the young (suggesting earlier infection?) whilst iGM more prevalent in the old.

Would appreciate feedback from experts, however.
Even at 8th April 2020, so over a month ago, prevalence stood at over 10%.

I wonder what it is now?

Um. That works out at about £100k per ventilator so far

According to Bloomberg a ventilator from a ventilator specialist manufacturer costs about €20,000.

British exceptionalism (& this Tory Gov);is very very costly to the taxpayer, constantly sweeping up a mountain of errors

Mercedes F1 team and University College London have also supplied 10,000 breathing aids called continuous positive air pressure devices with tight-fitting masks. Important given ventilator use in CV can cause more harm than good in some cases.
