Interesting interview with Jeremy Farrar of SAGE at @prospect_uk prospectmagazine.co.uk/science-and-te… Apparently the issue about "herd immunity" being part of the strategy is still unclear even to SAGE. This is crucial, and we need to know where this notion came from. What does Vallance say? 
Let's put this another way: "There was this idea, and because of this idea the govt dithered, and now around 60,000 people are dead, but we're not sure now where that idea came from." Someone had damned well better find out.
(To be clear, I am not raging at Jeremy, who is a good guy - but the matter simply cannot rest here.)
