@nature Feels necessary to say that the govt insists that it is not abandoning the child refugees, but does not see the need for anything to be written into the WA about that. But if we don't trust or believe them, it is because they have given us ample reason.
@nature (Just look, for example, at the broken promises about EU citizens living in the UK, or the border with Northern Ireland, or...)

This sounds interesting and important, and also infuriating in what it exposes. The only way to ensure "truly free markets, ones which are not sabotaged by their most powerful participants", is by "robust regulation."

Put another way: those who clamor for "deregulated markets" basically want the freedom to undermine the very basis on which free markets supposedly achieve their efficiency - because that would damage the profit margins of financial institutions.
So what we're left with is economists mathematizing a fantasy (nothing new there), while chancers like Javid reap financial and political profit.

We're promised early on an exposé of the "disinformation" that is duping us all. But I guess the author forgot to include it. What she did include was a lone comment that the warming per decade used for projections in 2007 was 0.2C per decade. But it's only been 0.05, we're told!
Yet you can see from the graph alone that the 0.2C figure is about right. As NASA says, it's been around 0.15-0.2 C per decade since 1975.
The link in support of her false claim goes to a Telegraph piece saying that the 2007 IPCC projected 0.13C per dec, but in 2013...

Two, if you think there is likely to be any hint of ethics in these activities, you probably should not be doing the job you do already...
Three, we know this man cares nothing for truth, facts and integrity unless it suits him. You going to bank on him changing his ways now?

In short, this initiative is likely to attract only the sort of person who shouldn't be allowed anywhere near it.
