@Barkiologist I think yours is a deep question and ponder.
Of course there is the top level easy responses. But there is a thing being unleashed. I suspect we are about to find some hidden doorways that question our selves and the assertions "I am (or not) that kind of person".
@Barkiologist 2/ I say this wo moral overlay. We can discuss right/wrong good/bad as part of the convo. But the basic question of identity and identity being challenged seems to me a possibly point of growth & maturity that may not have been provoked without these times.
@Barkiologist 3/ Are we allowed to 'hate' evil?

It reminds of a Rumi poem that ends w the warrior walking away from someone he was going to slay because "I was going to kill you out of truth. Now I am angry at you..so I cannot."
@Barkiologist 4/ That holds some inflection on this question that is your experience.

Not sure what exactly. But I expect we are about to find out what suffering is, and has been over the eons in ways we have not thought was going to be our experience.

&etc.
@Barkiologist 5/ Most everything I write & think about has some facet of these questions as backdrop.

Maybe we'll figure out how to engage the questions sometime...

thx for the share.

@Barkiologist 6/ Forgot this point:
Whatever comes of it, it seems necessary to encourage ourselves to allow ourselves to feel what we feel. Deeply and without filter.
I think we are learning what "righteous anger" is actually like, and about.

That anger/hate will, I think, subside when it
@Barkiologist 7/ is no longer necessary. No longer called for by the times.

It is the ego based, or worse, fear based hate that persists and nurses a grudge.

There are distinctions to be made, I think is my point.
