Homemade DOUGHNUT Recipe!

LEARN how to make Soft, Fluffy & a Melt in your mouth kind of Doughnut with GLAZE.

If you can, pls use a measuring set to get this measurements accurately.

I assure you that the Measurements have been well tested & therefore fail proof.
Basically just mix the dry and wet ingredients together.

Make sure you use an active yeast.. If you are not sure, proof it first with Warm Milk & little sugar.

This is the complicating part.

After mixing, you would end up with a Soft, Sticky Dough.

You might be tempted to add extra Flour to thicken it.. DON'T TRY IT!

Else you'll end up with a hard & dense Doughnut (my mistake in the first trial😂)

I'll show you what to do👇
If you have a doughnut cutter, perfect 👌

If you don't, use the sharp end of any Round object you can find..

As you can see, I used a cup.

You can try with the cover of a small pot, then make smaller holes in the middle.

Make sure you deep fry & the Oil must not be too hot.
How to make the doughnut glaze..

The base ingredients for any type of glaze is Confectioners Sugar(Icing Sugar)

You can then turn into a chocolate or Coloured Glaze with cocoa powder or Food Colouring...

Mix it with water/milk till you get the consistency that you want.
So, to prevent dough from sticking anyhow.

Generously Flour the work surface, your Hands, Kneading Pin, Bowl, tray.. Everything the dough would come in contact with.

Don't sha add extra Flour.
