1/ In France, the lockdown ended 11 days ago. Today, the weather is pretty good and it’s a 4 days weekend. It’s 6pm and for the 1st time since a long time, I’m going in the center of Toulouse.

My very own personal feelings
2/ A general feeling: the streets are it very full. In this configuration, weather, 4-days weekend, time, this unusual

I never saw so much store owners outside their stores. They are waiting in front of their stores, smoking, discussing with their neighbor.
3/ More than 50% doesn’t wear a mask. One big exception, the majority of people above 50+ years old I met, wear a mask. This is a very positive thing.

A lot of people wear a mask before entering into a store because it’s mandatory. When they go out they take it off
4/ The majority of parents with young kids wear a mask too.

I don’t blame anyone, it’s 30 degrees here and wear a mask is complicated for a lot of people. I understand why they don’t wear it
5/ Most of the time people respect the social distanciation l. When you met them they try to take care and not be too close.
6/ Most of the people I met wear the mask correctly. However, a lot of them are touching their face, put the mask in their pocket, etc
7/ Again, this is my very own personal feelings, it’s too subjective. What about you? How is it happening in your city?
Sorry for the typos, 2/ is: “streets are not very full”
8/ Also, only 1/3 of the schools reopened. So at 5pm parents who are working home, go to the parks to join the others parents. Kids are playing together.
9/ Worth to say, in France the situation is under control. The number of people in intensive care is decreasing for a long time and we are going back to “a normal level”
