I am considering offering a digital graduate seminar on discrete dynamic games: mixing literature from robotics, economics, and computational social science. Material will cover mathematical theory, simulation and applications via data science methods.

Can i charge(?) to cover:
@SumanovVasily @ManuAlzuru and all.

more info will come out in the next week or so. I am building out a plan which i'll publish. I am aiming for a 2 hour seminar once a week with 2 TAs each offering an hour of office hours a week and one admin to provide support.
i am expecting to run this fo approximately 3 months modeled off my convex optimization course structure at Penn:

Part 1: Mathematical Foundations
Par 2: Numerical Methods (simulations)
Part 3: Applications (focused on projects)

class size will be minimum 6, maximum 20.
I'm working on a more detailed syllabus which I will release before asking anyone to commit.

I am also budgeting for the support resources approximately 5000 USD, amounting to 500 per month per support staffer plus 500 for miscellaneous expenses.
At that cost my time is donated. I will be preparing the syllabus, giving lectures, leading discussions, preparing reading lists, etc.

I will open up separate channel for donation to the project to support my compensation and the ongoing research that makes this course possible.
More details will come out as this proceeds but if anyone wants to help financially support this initiative please reach out.

I'd prefer to keep costs to students to a minimum -- just enough to feel committed and stick through the hard parts or to prioritize it when you get busy
.@SamoBurja

this literally made my day... and i have a bunch of those really expensive pieces of paper... i view such things as decreasingly correlated with my desire to hire or work with people but people still need to invest in skills and signal them. Image

In one of those futures, @owocki is at an ultimate party explaining how in crypto every subculture has its own token when he stops abruptly and says "hold my beer", whips out a laptop and proceeds to summon DADA, decentralized autonomous disc association.
6 hours later the party is still raging ... but there is already quorom in support of a proposal on the DADA to push sunday's games back by two hours to accomdate everyone's hangovers
6 days later the DADA has members from every contintent (you know there is are ultimate player scientists in antarctica), and funding has been secure to support @UltimatePeace for over a decade.

So you think you understand socio-technical systems from your knowledge of the technology? The tech is just the enabler; humans have agency.

networks of networks of Humans relationships are complex:
Couples a challenge
Families are more so

-evolutionary game theory (04)
-word of mouth process and enterprise software decisions(05-10)
-tech and env impact (06-07)
-bird flocking for multi-robot control (05-08)
