Twitter has never even *tried* to explain why it allows Trump to violate its user guidelines every day of the year.

total corporate cowardice
just like TV news execs never even *tried* to justify airing hundreds of hours of live Trump pandemic briefings even though were categorically not newsworthy events.

it’s just hugely profitable media conglomerates bowing down to Trump incessantly
if you or I posted that Trump tweet tonight we’d be banned in 10 mins. period.

but a global social media giant can’t summon the courage to do a damn thing

anyone stunned by Trump’s “looters” tweet simply hasn’t been paying attention or is playing some sort of game w/ themselves, pretending Trump isn’t a monster sociopath

sadly that includes lots of journalists
example: Trump’s calling for the US military to open fire on American protesters, and not one news outlet/newspaper will call for Trump’s resignation in next 48 hrs

same ridiculous defense was made when Trump's daily pandemic briefings were carried for 100's of hours.
DC pundit class is looking for any excuse to explain the complete lack of action news orgs have taken to counter Trump's authoritarian attacks on free press
