these are fascistic powers. They are not justified.
We’ve just been through a peak of the virus without Coronavirus Act Sch.21 (test/quarantine powers) being needed yet they’ve naturally, as with all extreme powers, been abused + wielded against the most vulnerable people.

So why are such extreme powers still on the shelf? The Government cannot defend the extreme Sch 21 powers in the same breath as the vehement defence of an infected person taking a 260 mile non-essential journey during the peak. It. Is. Impossible.
(In my view) both Cummings and the Coronavirus Act should go.
If Johnson keeps Cummings, it will require a lot of Government doublespeak, and a horrendously supine parliament for such extreme powers to remain on the statute books any longer.
