Time for what is becoming a regular feature of my Twitter: a translation of another fragment of Yulia Latynina’s weekly “Kod Dostupa”. This time about Russia’s disastrous performance in Libya and coronavirus vaccines (I might have to leave the second part for tomorrow).

The current Kremlin wisdom says that coronavirus relief should not take the form of “helicopter money”, that is money that is scattered to the populace from a helicopter - they will just binge on it. And so, last week I argued that “helicopter money” is precisely the money with

So I propose to replace the term “helicopter money” with the term “Pantsir-money”. Money should be fired from the Pantsir system. The Pantsir system is inexpensive , it’s sold for about $14 million.

And if you search for: “Pantsir-S-1 and Tripoli”, you will see this same Pantsir being carried on the streets of Tripoli. Finally, our Pantsir is even in Tripoli. True, it was captured there. It was captured from the troops of Marshal Khalifa Haftar, who got severely beaten up

and had to turn tail. And now our money goes not only for the war in Syria, but also for the war in Libya. And of course, this money is much more needed by the eternal loser Marshal Haftar, who already owes $ 150 million to our Wagnerites, whom he, by the way, does not pay,

than any old grandma or Dagestani doctors in Khasavyurt.

And let's consider the background to this grand defeat. There is one eternal loser Khalifa Haftar, who already in 1969 made a coup with Gaddafi and really wanted to be the head of Libya. That is, I think,

most of my audience was not yet born when Haftar already wanted to be the head of Libya. But instead, he miserably lost a war with Chad and was taken prisoner there. Imagine, the guy lost a war - no, not with America, not with South Korea - but with Chad.

Have you any idea what the army of the Republic of Chad is like?

From captivity in Chad he was taken to Hungary. There he received American citizenship. Yes, he really was a CIA agent. And, moreover, this guy, in his desire to become the head of Libya, worked with everyone:

he worked with the Israelis, he worked with the Americans, he worked with different Europeans. In the end, everyone abandoned him, and we already know that if someone is a complete loser who has been abandoned by all, like any leader of Zimbabwe, then there will always be one

sure option, called Russia. And there will always be a hopeless project in which Russia invests its money, be it Venezuelan oil or the Libyan Marshal Haftar.

And so we sent a bunch of everything to him, these Pantsirs, the Wagnerites. One heard various estimates of the Russians who fight for him. Someone speak a thousand, some say 2,5 thousand, some say 3 thousand. Well, 2.5 thousand, seems the best guess.

He promised last year that he would capture Tripoli. Naturally, he failed. Moreover, he refused to pay our Wagnerites and owes them $150 million with the wording that they, it turned out, were not battle ready. Well, of course, robbing gas stations in Donbass is not the same

So,in addition to the unpaid Wagnerites, we gave him “Pantsirs”, airplanes, drones

Right after the defeat several planes flew there. True, United Arab Emirates also pay Khalifa Haftar. And, apparently, part of this bill will still be paid by the UAE.

And that is why he made these threading boasts about capturing Tripoli. But the war is Syria ended, the

Turks came to Libya and with their drones smashed everything.

That is, really the state of Russian technology ... Well, are well used to the fact that Israeli planes destroy our installations, American planes - you remember what happened at Deir ez-Zor?

But here Turkish drones and Turkish military units, together with hired Islamists, defeated poor Khalifa Haftar, drove him out of the key military base he occupied. The Turks boast that they destroyed 3 installations of "Pantsirs".

It’s hard to tell if it’s true, because the Turks also lie. In this sense, they are just like Maria Zakharova. Erdogan and Vladimir Vladimirovich - are identical in terms of fake news. But, in short, they claim that they destroyed 3 of these "Pantsirs". And they carried one

“Pantsir” on the streets of Tripoli. They recaptured this military base, and 20% of the territory occupied by Haftar.
And you may ask, what did we forget there? What, in fact, are we fighting for? And the answer is very simple. Well, of course, as for oil,

we have already invested in Venezuela - you know how well it turned out. I will talk about this later.

But first of all, if you look at the wonderful configuration of this coast, Tripoli is the place from where you can send millions and millions of refugees to Europe.

And, in fact, we are fighting for this strategic strip of land, for a bit of the European state’s border of the future, from which one can cause mischief toEurope. Actually, the Turks are fighting for the same.

Plus, they still, of course, have the idea of ​​restoring the Ottoman Empire itching in their brains. Plus, Mr. Erdogan once again devalues ​​his lira, exactly, by the way, what we do to the ruble. And when the national currency goes down, unemployment and

the number of coronavirus victims go up, then, of course, it is very important to tell the populace that here we are restoring the Sublime Porte.
So, think about it, the main idea of ​​our operations in Libya is to be able at any moment to

ensure that a neighbour’s cow dies, that is: refugees rush into Europe. Although I can say that when Europe saw that refugees are not just the unfortunate people that human rights defenders have told them about, and these refugees are a kind of controlled substance

that rogue countries like Russia or Turkey are sending, somehow the Europeans quickly added two and two together. They feel sorry for individual refugees, but when they see the machinations of rogue countries, they immediately click on the button. And you may still remember,

that when the Turks tried to flood Europe with refugees, the Greeks began to simply shoot back, bullet for bullet.
