I have never seen any incarnation of She-Ra before, or even any incarnation of He-Man at that. The only Filmation cartoons I have ever seen are Bravestarr and that crappy Aquaman 60s show, so I am going in so blind that this is my only frame of reference:

After 5 episodes I can say that, if I had seen this when I was 9, it would have completely dominated my life and I would have owned the entire set of toys for it. It's got everything I loved in a cartoon circa 2003 and also I probably would have shipped Adora and Catra even then
Tangent: Why does Netflix even have a "Skip Intro" button for a theme song that lasts 30 seconds? I kinda get it for the longer live-action intros that are 2+ minutes and have nothing interesting, but the intro here is cool and it seems very silly to even bother skipping it

One thing this show does extremely well with is the wide shot scene enders. The composition is always really solid, and we get a great sense of the characters' emotions through showing them from far away, reflecting on events or discovering new places. #sheraspoilers
