The Child Care is Essential Act provides emergency grants to keep child care providers in business and workers on payroll during the crisis. It ensures child care for essential workers. And it makes long-term investments so more families can find affordable, high-quality care.
It was already nearly impossible to find good, affordable child care in this country. Now parents won’t be able to safely return to work if the system collapses. Congress must pass this bill for emergency relief funding as a critical part of our recovery. vox.com/2020/4/15/2122…
