Thread: sharing this & directing at white friends/followers. I've messed up many times & still hold prejudices. I'm not my own version of the ideal ally. But over and over I've seen some Black friends posting that they don't need certain images RT'd into their TL. Made me think. 
Part 2/whatever - and these are only my thoughts, obviously I can't speak for anybody else, so if it reads as stupid, well, that's okay. You will find somebody else whose thoughts and words suit you better and who is likely more eloquent and educated than I.

Part 7: I know Twitter is not the place for nuanced social discourse. I'm also aware that I walk with a lot of ignorance. But being checked on shit and just listening has helped me see perspectives I might not otherwise consider, so I offer this in that spirit. Take good care.
