The things to worry about are whether people get hurt or killed, or mom and pop businesses get trashed in the mayhem.

Target will be fine.

Target, a Minneapolis-based company, should have skin in the game of police reform.
TV news always makes “looting” its centerpiece of protest or Katrina-survival disasters, because it is “good TV.”

Almost always when the dust settles property damage is nowhere near the most important/telling part of the story, except as a view into media criticism.
In every case that I can think of in last 20+ years, protests like these have only grown worse/more deadly when city officials and police do not take immediate, concrete, real steps to assure people they will reform. Mayor seems to be doing this. U of M also. Over to you MlpsPD
Looting also needs to be seen against the backdrop of 40 million Americans losing their jobs in last few weeks—George Floyd among them.

And him killed by police after being accused—wrongly it seems—of passing a counterfeit $20 bill.
