And of course, Safiah's splendid career reveals the efforts of activists who want to exploit his tragic drowning in order to demonize Israel as ridiculous. I wonder if Sarsour or Jarrar could tell us how much opportunity talented dancers have under Palestinian rule...

This is a rather revealing article: it shows that it comes naturally to the NYT to whitewash Arab-Muslim antisemitism as "just anti-Zionism".

While the title makes clear that the controversial Ramadan shows feature Jewish characters, the "critics" who denounce featuring Jewish characters as “normalization” with Israel are treated as entirely legitimate and their bigotry is studiously ignored.

One of the "critics" cited by the NYT is "prominent Palestinian journalist, Abdel Bari Atwan" who is presumably still hoping that Iran will nuke Israel.

I just got an antisemitic response to one of my tweets, and checked out the account -- it has just some 140 followers, but its tweets & RTs offer a breathtaking glimpse of Jew-hatred on Twitter. Here's one example 👇
From RTs on this account, I discovered this one - apparently a retired basketball player - with some 120K followers, and tons of completely deranged tweets
So apparently I got it wrong: it's a former football (not basketball) player who seems to have medical problems (and shouldn't be tweeting)
