Trump has been fundraising for months off the claim that Democrats are planning to rig the 2020 election by submitting mass amounts of forged ballots. His message to his supporters is explicit: if I lose the election, it's only because of fake ballots. 
If Trump loses in November, he's not going to accept it, nor will many of his supporters. At this point, the best case scenario is probably that he responds by filing lawsuits to challenge the results of the election, but the Supreme Court rules against him, and he accepts that.
And the worst case scenario? The expectation of a peaceful transition of power is so grounded in American history that it's hard to seriously consider alternatives.

And the President has been consumed in recent weeks with finding ways to stop private institutions from contradicting his false claims about nefarious Democratic forces seeking to forge ballots in order to fraudulently steal the 2020 election.
Trump says all kinds of crazy meaningless shit that has no real effect on the world. So the temptation is to say, "When Trump claims that there is a Democratic conspiracy to forge ballots, and that the only good Democrat is a dead Democrat, it's just more crazy meaningless shit."
