I've met people like this in my life. Born into wealth and privilege and entitlement and utterly convinced of their own superiority because nobody ever told them they were talking utter bollocks. But this is one of the worst cases I've ever seen.

Of course his father in law's views have nothing to do with Dominic Cummings. Bit tired of pointing that out. We all have batty relatives.
