The fact that Donald Trump still lacks basic understanding of how government works — does he know that the city and the county both exist, neither controls the other, and they both have different jobs? — alone makes him a national danger at moments like this.

The move prevents replying to or liking the “looting ... shooting” tweet, engagement numbers are gone, and people can only quote RT it now.

Last night, Trump did not warn that looting leads to violence that could cause harm. He said, "Any difficulty and we will assume control but, when the looting starts, the shooting starts." — saying what would happen, "shooting," if there was looting once the Nat'l Guard came in.
Donald Trump just called reporters to the Rose Garden for a press conference that was not a press conference — because he took no questions; it was a statement — and during which he did not so much as mention Minneapolis (or Louisville).
