Same story everywhere. It's overwhelmingly white kids between 20-30 who are all extremely privileged to the point where they can adopt anarchist ideologies and destroy property of others knowing they won't have to be the ones who live with the consequences.

The whole article is about how someone created a fake twitter account pretending to be Antifa and therefore it’s wrong to blame them for the violence. It ignores the overwhelming evidence they are coordinating a violent terror campaign throughout the country.

Indefensible.
Even the SPLC, which is usually very liberal about blame right-wing extremists, is conceding there really isn’t any evidence to support those groups being responsible, but media outlets desperately looking for ways to cover for Antifa:
I mean what is the value of this story other than to deflect blame from a group coordinating violent a attacks on Americans? What about the thousands of actual Antifa and DSA account calling for violence and cheering it on? Not part of the story, apparently.

Thread. It really is infuriating the sacrifices people made and were told were needed to save lives only to now watch press and politicians decide the rules don't apply anymore.
You really think anyone is going to trust those politicians and the media again with that type of power knowing how they selectively used it?

DeBlasio was literally sending cops to break up groups of Jews gathering, but now encourages large protests a few weeks later.
And what do you think happens when we inevitably have a spike resulting from these protests/riots? A spike that will inevitably hurt the most vulnerable communities the most.

We will be told we need to take further steps and sacrifice more. You think anyone will sign up 4 that?

We've seen quite a few of these attacks on journalists actually in the field over the last few days, and it's disturbing more people in the media haven't spoken out in support of their colleagues. .
Compare the support a reporter usually gets from others in the media after Trump verbally attacks them to the relative silence after @LelandVittert and his crew were attacked by rioters the other day:
To their credit, several outlets and the press has generally covered instances, like CNN reporters being arrested, where police have mistreated or attacked journalists over the last few days. But there is an obvious attempt to downplay attacks from the crowds themselves.
