Since there are still people who think that Epstein had MJ's contacts in his black book, let's set the record straight: the two didn't know each other. The contacts belong to Samuel Gen, vaguely linked to Jackson by 3 degrees of separations through a temporary advisor.

More context: Samuel Gen was the lawyer for James Meiskin, president of Plymouth Partners, a NY real estate firm. According to Roger Friedman, MJ met Meiksin in Nov. 2000 at the home of Howard Rubenstein when Jackson was introducing his new charity with Shmuley Boteach.

Meiskin's collaboration with MJ was short-lived and didn't end on good terms. Remember that Boteach also was involved in some duplicitous shit regarding MJ's finances - hence their quick fallout. More at: showbiz411.com/2013/08/12/mic…

In Oct. 2003, AFTER the end of his collaboration with MJ, Meiskin and his lawyer Gen were arrested on charges that they extorted a criminal defense lawyer and one of the lawyer's clients. Obviously the case had nothing to do with MJ.(nytimes.com/2003/10/18/bus…)

So, in a nutshell, Meiskin was nothing but one of the countless temporary business advertisers around MJ. MJ had no relationships with Samuel Gen (the contacts in Epstein's book are Gen's, not MJ's).

In 2006, Samuel Gen was disbarred following the allegations leveled against him and his client, Meskin (law.justia.com/cases/new-york…). In 2015, Gen applied for reinstatement.

In short:
The contacts in Epstein's book are Samuel Gen's. MJ's name seems to be there as a reference (as MJ was indirectly connected to Gen's through temporary advisor Meiskin, Gen's client). Epstein didn't have MJ's contacts nor there is trace of the two knowing each other. 6/7
That said, Epstein's book is nothing but a list of contacts of all kinds that he collected, whether he knew the people personally or not. In fact, many people on the list never met him at all. The majority of them aren't accused of anything.
