@RagingLibNana Looting always happens during anarchy. It isn’t a reflection on the cause of anarchy. It’s a reflection on the many who would gladly steal if no one is looking or if they have little chance of being caught.
@RagingLibNana This is why we have laws and law enforcement. The majority of people are good, law abiding citizens (about 60%). The rest have questionable morals and ethics. That doesn’t mean they are bad people. It means they have less self control, less integrity. This is the absence of law.
@RagingLibNana People who only follow the law because they are being watched are more common than you have been led to believe. Hamurabi of Babylon enshrined laws a few thousand years ago. Because some people require a more structured environment and clear expectations. 
@RagingLibNana Even 3700 years ago, people lied, stole, fought, divorced, defrauded one another & murdered. Hamarabi was at least honest that the law did not apply equally to various classes of people. Slaves had limited rights. Free men had more, land owners had the most. Women were property.

@RagingLibNana People don’t change. There will always be people who are more selfish, more egocentric, more greedy. That’s human nature. Laws and law enforcement keep many of them under control and behaving within social norms. Anarchy removes any inhibitions. That’s what you’re seeing.
@RagingLibNana But there definitely are a few hired provocateurs that are encouraging anarchy and creating havoc. Trump supporters are gullible enough to believe it’s the protesters. Police can’t tell one from the other, so all protesters become the enemy. This is anarchy
