The sanctum sanctorum of Shree Padmnanava Swami temple has the pratima of Bhagawan Vishnu in his
"Ananta Sayana" posture.
The pratima is made of Kattusarkarayogam,a mixture of herbs.12008 Saligramas is placed within it which are from the bank of Gandaki river,Nepal.
From the navel of Lord Vishnu a lotus arises in which Lord Brahma is seated and a shivalingam placed under his right hand.
The pratima is so large that it can not be view all at once.
There are three large viewing doors.
1st door offers the glimpse of Shivalinga and lord Vishnu recline on Adishesa.

2nd door shows Lord Brahma ,
Shridevi ,Maharshi Bhrigu ,Silver utsava moorti and gold Avisheka moorties of lord Padmanavaswami .

3rd door shows Bhagawan Vishnu's feet,Bhudevi and Markandeya Rishi.
