All the people saying "riots are going to make people vote for Trump" are overlooking the fact that Trump has quite clearly failed to stop the riots, and has visibly made them worse.

Trump represents continued screeching, violence, chaos, fear, and uncertainty. Biden represents none of those things.
No one wants to see rioting continue. And most people recognize that stopping it will require strong leadership, empathy with the grievances that caused the protests, awareness of the problem of police brutality, and a commitment to create change.

This isn't an argument that requires logic or careful thought. Everyone can plainly see Trump screeching about Antifa on Twitter and hiding from the protesters and threatening to shoot people, while doing absolutely nothing effective to actually reduce the violence.
Everyone can tell, on a deep emotional instinctive level, that Trump is a screeching idiotic ineffectual coward.
