That's really the message you have for us, Joe? That's the best you can do? You need to be a lot fucking better, and fast (or step aside). November is coming.

We can't afford for you to lose to the most dangerous president in our nation's history.

But right now?
You're an uninspiring candidate. Listen to young people, especially to young black people. We see through the flaws of our society with the clarity of youth. We demand change.

What you're seeing right now is a deep frustration, a sense that elections cannot change our society for the better.

Unimaginative politicians like you are why young people are electoral cynics.

We don't need an arrogant, out of touch old man who thinks the kids have it wrong.

Get better. Learn from young people and youth movements. Make an effort to meet us where we are, on criminal justice reform, on inequality, on climate change, on healthcare, etc.

If you can't, you're unfit. Find somebody who can, or already has, and let them lead the party.

We're not going to support you just because you have our friends and allies on your task force, even Varshini. She's there to try to educate you and to change your campaign.

But if you want our generation's support, it's critical that you listen carefully, learn, and change.

We are the future.

Fail to listen to us at your own peril.
