The state of Alabama has lost one of its legendary coaches in Pat Dye.

The field at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn is named for him. He won four SEC championships at Auburn, and he coached my choice for the world's greatest athlete, Bo Jackson.

Coach Dye's teams were famous for their toughness and fighting spirit and for never quitting. He brought the Iron Bowl to Auburn and won an upset victory in that historic first game at Auburn in 1989.
Pat Dye never lost his country roots or his common touch. 

My condolences to Coach Dye's family, and to the entire @AuburnU family.

31 years ago today, the CCP killed AT LEAST hundreds of pro-democracy protesters in Tiananmen Square, & they continue to persecute religious and ethnic minorities. China lied about & covered up the Wuhan Virus. We must back @realDonaldTrump & hold China accountable!
Alabama & the country can't afford to have a China apologist like @ttuberville in the Senate. He is both weak on China ("we can’t control our own destiny. Everything’s controlled by China") AND dead wrong ("We’ve got China that’s got a better military, and things, than we have").
We will not appease or cower before China, Tommy Tuberville. We will stand up for America's interests, and we will win. China is the strategic challenge of our time. We have to think long-term, be steadfast, and protect America’s interest. Tommy Tuberville just does not get it!
